Sitting and waiting on a rock in the middle of a river for the sunset colors, I decided to throw on my macro lens and see what else i can find near me as the sunset was not looking promising. Fall leaves blanketed the area still from a storm the night before. Leaves were catching the last bit of rain of the season before it turns to snow. This was taken on the Carson River in Hope Valley, California.
