This image is shot on a piece of black glass in camera, no editing, straight scan of the plate. The process is using Wet plate Collodion, plate is coated in collodion, sensitized with silver nitrate, shot in the camera while plate is wet, then developed, and fixed in potassium cyanide. Great looking old-timey shot! Was bummed to see she still has her Apple Watch on though lol nice work all the same!
I have another shot with out the apple watch. Just because the process is old does not mean the people are, I am using an old process to capture people as they are now. So it does not bother me so much that the apple watch is there.I appreciate the comment and vote. Thank you.
I love the story of the process. I've done a lot of view camera work, but never with wet-plate. Kudos! She did a good job of sitting still for the exposure.
