Took this at the local dealership, the car was originally blue and I adjusted the colour, the wall behind the vehicle was originally a galvanised steel wall and I changed the colour to compliment the car. The image was cleaned up by removing lines and marks from the asphalt, and the lens flare was added in Elements. Taken using a Nikon D90 and kit lens. would love to win a tutorial to help me learn more about post production.

This would be a MUCH stronger image without the lens flare. Always avoid lens flare. Always. I think it’s cropped a little too tightly and maybe a little too dark, but it’s hard to tell with the flare drawing all of my attention away from the car.

I want to add to the topic of lens flairs. They can work in photos, but not the ones that come in Photoshop. If you want a lens flair in a photo get it in camera and stay away from the easy to spot processed ones.

I love the blues in this, I would kind of agree regarding the lens flare - I wouldn't say always avoid it but I think it could be pulled back here, especially since a lot of the photo is relatively dark. If it was about half what it is, maybe even with the centre just out of frame I think it could look really good and compliment the photo quite well
