The 84 people who rated this image are crazy. This image is fantastic.

I'm glad it got through to you, Lee, thank you for the selection!! It's funny, I had a portfolio review with an experienced art buyer, and was told that this image should be the single image I choose to market my work. I took it with a grain of salt, but I'm glad you see the strength (pun intended) in it too. It's not a portrait, which is what it sounded like Patrick is drawn to, but it's a personal favorite (and wasn't even a planned or set up shot, it was at a Crossfit competition).

Also, all the ratings in this critique are wonky because everyone is just negatively rating their competition. The other photo I submitted is on my profile and has a 3.78 over 91 ratings, but in this contest it has 2.3 with 81 ratings ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Such is life. Hope you're having fun in Puerto Rico.

I'm glad I am as good as a professional art buyer now!

this image is super controversial. Even on Youtube people either love it or hate it. I don't know that I've seen an image with such a range before.

If everyone loved it, that'd mean it's way too safe :) I kind of like that it's so split.

Lee...........what ever you drink before critiquing please.......please let us know what it is...........it might help us understand your thinking...........;)

I think it's a great image. The repeating pattern in the lights lends it artistic appeal that tempers all the edge it has. They also orient you as looking upward enhancing the raw power. Great capture!
