For me the wings match perfectly, and I like the unusual crop focusing more on the person. One very easy thing that would make this image 100x better is if that ring actually cast light on her hair. Either by using a practical on the shoot or worst case doing it in photoshop. Also a little tip on "light rings": In reality light would get a little brighter on the edges as there is more light "overlapping". And to make it seem a bit brighter you can add an inside-glow with a little bit less saturation, as very bright sources seem less saturated and more white to the eye.
