While photographing landscapes in the South Carolina lowcountry I came across a family of gorillas playing chess and having a couple of beers near their camper. The lighting over the marsh was so nice I couldn't pass up the opportunity of capturing the scene!

In reality, everything in this scene was captured by myself on location or in a studio and composited in post.
