First attempt at a staged headshot. I got inspired by the recent post from Peter Hurley and used many of his techniques to get this shot. I know I didn't nail it, but this dairy farmer is proud of his first attempt.

Light on model is ok, the background has some issues, easy fix in post to smooth out the transitions and remove the bit on left edge
Right!? I saw that after I uploaded it. At that point, I had already submitted it so, I decided to just go with it. Thanks for the input though!
These things always happen to me, especially when I click print :-) I was referring to the camera left, near the top of the frame there is a horizontal highlight and then underneath a bit of odd graduation on the low key, the bit on camera right it's ok as looks more intentional.
