This image was shot at the New Orleans sea wall during a cold spell. I initially was heading to the lake to photograph some ice that had formed on the sea wall with the setting sun. This flock of gulls were hanging out right where I wanted to shoot. As I startled them I made a few photographs. I love how this image turned out.
