Good compositional balance, would have made a striking B&W. Both eye are in sharp focus with catch-lights in both eyes and the irises glow. The DoF allows the face to be in focus and tapers off toward the rear. The negative space is balanced. The only negative is the light area at the top of the photo is distracting. The later almost sent my rating below 3, but the rest of the photo was good so I give a steady 3 due to the story...this pup is up to something and his ears show movement even without any motion blur. That glow of the iris is the strongest element that is supported by the overall composition.
