This is excellent. The lighting and the choice of backdrop combined with the shallow DoF draws the viewer's eye to the eye-catch in the dog's eye with the selective focus making the dog's mustache and bridge of the nose (a line that leads the viewers eye back to the dog's) dance with delicate light, speaking to the dog's character/personality.
