This is from the same shoot as the flour photo. I also wanted to play around with some fire!
This is one long exposure photo. The difficulty with this photo was trying to figure out how the second 2nd curtain flash works on the 5Dmkii. To the best of my knowledge, there is no in-camera setting allowing a second curtain flash on the 5Dmkii. So I had my canon flash on camera set to rear curtain and pointing towards the Alien Bee behind the camera that would light up my subject. I then had my assistant run around with basic dollar store birthday cake sparklers to get the light trails.
Still one of my favorite images I have ever created.
