One of my favorite travel hacks when flying is taking the window seat slightly behind the wing - it gives a sense of proximity while you're flying high above the ground and capturing a subject far below you. In this case, I think it gave a great contrast to downtown San Francisco and the Bay Bridge below.

Any photo that is taken from a plane window that has a plane wing in it is overdone and ruins the shot. You have some nice detail otherwise.
