My time in Iceland was full of snow and wind, which made for a unique landscape at Vestrahorn. I have seen this mountain in so many different compositions, so I wanted to capture something unique. The new snow and the black sand made for some obvious contrast that I wanted in my shot. Luckily I got there early before footprints ruined all the cool sand and snow formations.
