I always liked the contrast to this image and backlighting illuminating the water droplets. It wasn't until I printed this that it became one of my favored shots seeing it come to life. I also like the somewhat mirrored branches in the background. This is good ol' natural water too, no spray.

I'd have liked to see this in colour, I'm not sure what black and white brings to a picture of a flower. Good focus on the main subject though.
Thanks for the comments! So few people actually spell out anything constructive. Honestly this was kind of a boring scene in color: lavender colored flower in front of a very green backdrop. It wasn't until I made it B&W that I thought it stood out as something different. I don't remember which filter was used in the conversion to get the flower and droplets to stand out.
i like the depth of field, however for me, im not a huge fan of all the 'dead space' ion this shot. i like the B&W
