I took this picture at Alpe di Siusi just after sunset. The plan was to shoot the mountain at sunset, but then I realised that the moon would rise right above it. I shot the moon separately as it is very bright using a 200mm lens and composed it into the shot.

Unpopular opinion: I think you should crop the moon out, and that would make it a stronger image.

I really like this image and the story it's telling is interesting. The problem with the moon is that it doesn't compliment the main story, and it even makes it into a "Fantasy."

Thanks for the Feedback, Chase! I agree, I just thought it would be a bit too flat without the moon. I see what you mean by fantasy. The aim was to show a simple and basic lifestyle in a surreal dreamy landscape.

Well if you put it in that context, attempting to illustrate a surreal landscape, or the irrationality of a dream, then keep it. As the moon is what adds those elements.
