This was my first visit to the old Victorian lighthouse just off the coast of Harwich , after days of checking weather apps and deciding this was the day that could possibly provide a good image I headed out on the hour drive , however when i arrived on location I was greeted with heavy rain. Deciding I had come to far to not get an image at all I waited patiently and with the fading light I was rewarded as the conditions all came together, the rain stopped the sea calmed and as the last bit of light was hitting the light house i could just make out a hint of a reflection , knowing I didn't have much time i quickly grabbed my trusty Lee 10 stop filter to really smooth out the water and show the movement of the rapidly moving clouds, I experimented with various shutter speeds and i felt a 30 second exposure was perfect . This image is my favourite image of the year I love the feeling of isolation but also calmness this image conveys . 250 sec. f/16 32 mm

Nice, clean shot. Well done
Thank you
I like the nearly featureless sky and completely flat water punctuated by the angular, rough dark lighthouse.
