lovely shot, but definitely feel like the bee is the subject, because he is center and more in focus..

I see your point, but it's also about the stamina and pistils (?) of the flower. But I agree that without the fly, it would be a weaker shot.

I think this is outstanding!

In terms of bee vs. flower - for me this is spot on. Many folks have submitted photos that "have" some plants, but the plant is just coincidental in the scene.

In this case, it's precisely the interaction of the insect to the plant - that ages-old iconic bit of nature - that is the subject. The dance between the two, neither of which survives without the other. I love it.
