I can remember back to the first image that sparked my interest in Photography, and that was a mountain range photograph by Ansel Adams. To this day I very much love dramatic black and white processing for my landscapes. I photographed this with a 200mm lens attached to a Nikon D800(it is a panoramic stitch made up of 3(?) images - as I really wanted to preserve the sheer magnitude, power, and vast detail when viewed very closely)
This photo was captured on the western side of Vancouver Island on Canada's west coast, near the town of Tahsis. I was working with the Canadian Coast Guard at the time, repairing radio communication sites on remote mountain tops throughout the region.
I can easily imagine this artwork on somebodys wall. Realy nice!
Thank you so much for the kind words, Denis.
