A couple of pals and I have been teaming up and collaborating on some higher-end video production projects to shoot some spec ads. Our handle is "Colada Management." It started off as a playful commentary on Miami's dependency on strong shots of coffee (Colada) to get anything done. The name stuck and I figured it was time we put a bit more effort into the branding.
So dreamt up this little team photoshoot to show us in our element drawing a bit of loose inspiration from the last supper. Hence the name of the photo ("The Last Colada").
I used one Flash with a giant softlighter umbrella above the scene as ambient fill. A flash outside the window with CTO for the flare. and individually lit and posed ourselves with a 47-inch beauty dish. The Astera Titan Tubes served as practicals to motivate the color contrast in the scene.
And finally, a little haze in the room to really get that intense flare.

It's nicely composed and I like the overall lighting. But I noticed that the exposure underneath the table doesn't match the rest of the scene. There is no orange lighting past the left table leg. I'd imagine the steel chair legs would at least reflect the orange light.
Great eye, Manuel.
