I had a break during my work at a music festival in Ukraine. While heading for a lunch I saw this couple through the crowd from far away. I just loved how they stood. At that time I had 2 Nikon cameras: d750 with 24-70 and d7100 with 70-200 2.8. On 70-200 I had a much better chance because they stood very far and the street was crowded. So I slowly raised d7100 while turning zoom ring to 200(300 in this situation) and as I was ready to release the shutter the girl looked straight at me. I was able to take only one picture before they started walking. I looked at the picture on a screen for a while. I wanted them to have it so much. So I caught up to them, showed them this picture and told that I would be happy to send it to them. They loved it, so I gave them my phone number and went for a lunch. Next day I sent the picture and now we are friends). I love this photo for couple reasons. That I was able to catch it in such a short window of time, because it's simple, genuine photo with zero crop and almost no editing and because I made a gift.
