Shot on the Sigma Art 14-24 at 23mm. This is a fairly popular spot, but I don't think I've seen a ton of other pictures of it--and from about 3:30am through sunrise I had the place almost entirely to myself, with 1 or 2 photographers wandering down in the last few minutes before sunrise. It looks fairly calm and serene, but it was actually a bit sketchy in the dark. The seas were pretty rough that day and I was perched on a concrete platform that dropped off directly into the water. The waves actually hit the platform from around a corner off camera to the right of this frame, and it was very hard to tell what was approaching in the dark. Luckily it was low-tide, or I never would have gotten this shot--when I came back a few hours later as the tide came in, the waves had completely inundated the platform (and all the rocks in the foreground). Definitely worth the effort though!

What a beautiful image. The bits of magenta colored water make me question the editing, but it wasn't what I first noticed. Great composition, great light.
Thanks for the feedback Nathan, and glad you enjoyed it! I added some split toning to this in later edits (the original without color grading--and perhaps closer to reality--is on my profile if you're interested). I liked the mood it created, but I think you're right that it brought some odd colors into some places in the water. I may need to go back and apply it more selectively.
Other than the magenta, it looks great. The magenta looks brighter and artificial is all. Otherwise, great work.
