What was the thinking behind covering the cat and floor in filth?
What was the thinking behind placing the "incandescent lights" so high and far away from your subject?
Hmm, can't tell if this is a sincere comment or not, but sure.
The filth is catnip - it's there for the cat's enjoyment.
As for the lights, they were attached to the ceiling, and I didn't move/remove them for fear of angering the landlord.
I'm not a professional photographer and don't have access to a studio, so using ceiling lights is what I had that fit the brief of no flash and no natural light.
