'Spindrift'. Taken during a once in a decade storm here in Western Australia last week at a coastal location called 'The Gap' in Albany, a spectacular channel in the 40m high coastal granites of Torndirrup National Park. The wind was gusting around 70kms per hour and was about 20mins before sunset, making the conditions challenging to say the least. The waves were braking over the 40m high end of the channel, creating the 'Spindrift' of the title. The camera was handheld and details are - Fujifilm XT-20; XF18-55mmF2.8-4 R LM OIS lens @ 18mm; F4; 1/40 and ISO 800. Post was RAW - exposure etc, cropping and ON1 B&W conversion.
