I shot this image in 'Dharavi Kumbharwada' which is Asia's biggest slum located in Mumbai, India. Kumbharwada is a potter's colony where artisans make clay pots and vessels and bake them in the brick pits next to their houses. The ambience if full of smoke and looks beautiful when the sunlights cuts through the shades dividing the space into the dark and the light!

Sanket, I’m upping my rating to five stars. The lighting in this scene is beautifully captured, the image tells the story perfectly and it has me coming back to the picture frequently. It’s the best I’ve seen on here 👍

Thank you so much! :)

Nice image but the entire left side of the shot could be cropped out I think.

I tried to include the vastness of this ambiance that was busy with light and shade. Point of views! :)

Great Picture Sanket.

The mood and light is amazing. Also the colors are very harmonic.

In case you had some control about the scene what about positioning a person at the door looking towards the camera? Seeing a face instead a back of a person certainly has more impact.

You also might want to remove the white something on the right side of the picture. Edge distractions do not really add to the picture.
