This is a single light in the dead of night and I captured a mom having her first baby with a midwife- and you're seeing her first hug 2 seconds after she pushed her baby out- and the rush of oxytocin and adrenaline in mom's expression of bliss and love.

shame it's not in focus
For sure. But the contest is blur- that is motion blur. I don't think i could have gotten it in focus. There was a single light on (like a 40w incandescent) as she progressed in labor she kept asking for more and more lights off. She asked for that one off too- and i strait told her- if she turns off that light i wont be able to take photos. So she kept it on 😵 and this was the real result. From am artistic point- i wish it was daylight out and i was able to have a full light set up- but you cant do that to a laboring mom
