I went to the Tidal Basin for my yearly cherry blossom pilgrimage. After a couple of long exposures of the memorial to smooth out the water I saw a light trail in the sky. Turns out there were a lot of flights taking off from the airport that morning. I walked around to the other side of the basin to get a better composition. Some of the planes flew too slow and others too fast to get a good shot. This one seemed to be on the money.
