In Lander, WY. the river flows down from the mountains and into a sink and disappears into the mountains. After flowing in the mountains hidden for sometime the river resurfaces. Trout can be seen from the viewing station above the exiting river, before it continues down the mountain side. This is one of the great views in Sinks Canyon. Sorry, fishing is not allowed.
