This is a very talented cosplayer I often shoot. This particular character is called the Reaper from the game Overwatch.

I had based the concept on a sketch that I had seen of the Reaper floating. It was just the character against a white background and I was inspired to do a full composition.

I got Leia to do a number of 'hero' poses and then I got her to jump in the air. I picked the best from both images and composited the 2 together. I also did some closeups of her mask which I then copied and flipped the left side over to create a full undamaged mask.

The background was made up of a number of different stock images that I had.

Lighting consisted of 2 strobes, one rectangular softbox as the key light to the right, and a stripbox to the left and behind her.
