I shot this in my studio in Melbourne, Australia and I collaborated with this designer who is based in Sydney.

This particular designer created a number of the costumes for the Xena and Hercules series. He specializes in latex creations. The theme were were going for was a post apocalyptic tribal look and makeup in this took about 1.5 hours to create.

I used frequency separation for the skin and a number of tonal curves with some textures over the image.

Lighting was a 2 strobe setup. The key light had a 700mm beauty dish to the right and a grided barn door on a strobe behind him and to the right as a kicker.
