"Rainbow Dance" For this image, the dancer jumped and threw flour at the same time. Colour was added in photoshop using a rainbow gradient. The subject is lite by two Canon Speedlites... one on each side/behind the dancer. 55mm · f/8.0 · 1/160s · ISO 640 It's interesting to note that a shutter speed of 1/160s would likely yield motion blur. To freeze the action, I set my Canon Speedlites to 1/4 power which produces an amazing flash duration of 1/2348s.
