This is four lights. An optical snoot with a gobo provides the pattern. There is a gridded blue fill light (reflector) to color the shadows on the face blue, a purple-gelled light in 33" silver umbrella camera right and behind to add a kiss of light to the back of the hat and shoulders, and a purple light on a black seamless backdrop.
