This is an European bee eater. We have the chance to have them in Spring and early summer in my area. They are really nice birds with great colors. They spend almost the whole day catching flying insects and it is not super hard to catch them in flight. The picture is rather minimalist with a frozen bird in a perfect blue sky. Note that the bird has a bee in its beak.
