Oh dear, "Needs Work" there isno work done on this photo. The light, the colours and the atmosphere changes with any adjustments. It may not be to every ones taste but it appeals to my personality.
I think you understand well the point of the ratings so I don't feel bad giving it a two, even though overall I like this and could see it's potential, with a little work, to hang on the wall... but would it ever be portfolio worthy (a three)... probably other shots would be better. But I agree with you... sometimes you have to just say "I like it and nothing else matters." haha
Mike when I look at the subject I want to capture I dont only look with my eye but my heart also. No one that is rating this photograph was there when I took it, and no one experienced the emotion that I was feeling. So every one will rate it according to their own interpretation. But just for you to try and understand why I have left this photo as it is, stare at it for a while, and then close your eyes and feel the emotion you get. I wounder if you would feel what I do, let me know please.
