A Dale Earnhardt, Sr, slot car. This home-made track surface was made of red sandpaper spray painted black and covered with flour and then taped to various pieces of wood and cardboard.
The track wall was printed on grey paper then taped to cardstock.
The out of bounds line was printed, cut and taped to the "track" surface.
The grass is Green Frog Tape.
I and a hobbyist and I have been using photoshop for about one month.

I was trying to keep Daytona legible. As far as slot cars go...that's as detailed as you get, but I understand your point.
