I took this at the North Carolina zoo. It was almost closing time and I assume it was also almost feeding time for the 2 cougars as they were just constantly pacing back and forth. Luck for me their pacing was lining up directly with the glass. I got down low and waited for them to walk towards me. Finally one of them looked directly at me while pacing and I was lucky enough to get a sharp photo with direct eye contact.
