This photo is from a ski and sail expedition in Svalbard. Photo is taken late spring meaning we had the midnight sun. After a long day of skiing most of the people were inside were i was out on deck. We were stuck in the ice sheet so the boat was laying still in the ice. Heard some strange splashing next to the boat and i looked down when i saw this polar bear approaching. Luckily i had my camera on deck so started taking shots. The blood on his face was clearly a newly catch.
Photo is handheld in quite a stressfull situtation for me. I had less than a minute before it was gone.
In post i did some sharpening and very basic editing. Reduced some texture around the polar bear and a bit of vignetting. And i think thats it.
