Chacma Baboons usually live in large social troops. These troops are governed by a dominance hierarchy, with lower ranking baboons subservient to the more dominant members.

Grooming is an important duty falling to lower ranking members. In this image, a dominant female receives some TLC while her offspring looks out at the camera.
