For this image I used VQGAN+CLIP and input a starting image of a stag looking at the camera. My criteria for the end result was "stag on fire bathed in sunlight during sunset" and it began a series of iterations based on those words. I noticed some of the iterations were better in some areas than others, so I decided to take several images and composite them together in Photoshop. I ended up taking the eyes and nose of the original image and compositing them into the final render to maintain some sort of realism. I liked the way the top of the stag's head looked like it had begun to give way to some flames within. The flames on the body don't look like flames to me but instead like some sort of lava or gel. It's an otherworldly, dreamlike omen.
