This is a portrait of Aerith Gainsborough from Final Fantasy 7 in the style of American Painter John Currin.
I have found that John Currin works extremely well for portraits, and I highly recommend using it.
I wanted to test Craiyon on a subject that is not a living person but well known, and in a style that hasn't to my knowledge previously been applied to that character. I am pretty happy with the results, which are frankly beautiful. The shine on the hair for instance, was entirely based on the style of the artist. I do wish that other details within the image could be improved, however the limitations of Craiyon prevent that.
I attempted to do something similar with DALL-E 2, however DALL-E 2 is not capable of rendering an image of Aerith for some reason. (I will never get those search credits back either from trying) cough cough.
Keep in mind that the resolution I had to work with was 256X256 or .25 Megapixels. If you can work better within that limitation with craiyon, by all means show me. :)
