Canon 5D Mk2. RAW conversion to BW. Natural light, no reflectors. No retouching.(levels in post) I look for an alley with light also reflecting off skyscrapers from the rear, that way you get focused frontal ambient along with a nice rear highlight. Facing men somewhat at an angle to the alley entry creates directionality therefore character and strength.
