"Pilot"
My friend Arto had grown this awesome beard. We agreed to do a photoshoot in my home studio, also known as our living room. I’ve had this leather jacket for a while, but I haven’t worn it in a long time. I’m glad I didn’t get rid of it, because it ended up being perfect for this pilot-themed image. These motorcycle goggles really completed the look.
I do my post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop. This time, I went for a grittier look. I mainly use a gray background since it is so versatile, and I texture it in post-processing. The motorcycle goggles fogged up easily, but it actually looked so good that I enhanced it in post-processing. My workflow usually goes like this: image manipulations, cleaning, background, light (vignette, dodge & burn, etc.), color grade, sharpening.
Fujifilm GFX 50S with Fujinon GF 110mm f2 R LM WR at 110mm and f/10, 1/125sec, ISO 100. Godox strobes.
