This photo was taken on the Magnolia Plantation in South Carolina. I was taking a break when this Great Blue Heron flew up to my partner and I. He landed a few feet away and completely disregarded us. I watched him for a little bit and he just seemed so deep in thought and I think I captured exactly that.
