The Rossiters '23.
For lighting I used a single Speedlite (Canon 600 EX-RT) attached to a Westcott Octa Rapid Box with grid. I used a Canon 24-70 mm f 2.8 lens at 50 mm and used settings f/16 SS1/250 ISO1600. I shot each of us separately against a black back drop (I used a remote trigger to shoot myself) then cut us out and placed us onto the same black background in Photoshop. I did a bit of retouching on the skin for my husband and myself, some color correcting, and gradient layers in PS to get the black & white just right.
I really love how it turned out and plan on shooting a family portrait like this each year to record how we all change over time and monitor my own progress as a photographer.
