An up-close soft and sensual shot gazing into the eyes and connecting with the soul of this beautiful woman. The shoulders and fingers provide leading lines to the main focal point of her eyes. A single 4-foot softbox was used with an Einstein strobe to provide soft light with a smooth transition to shadows. Shot with the Nikon D750, ISO 200, 70mm f8, 1/125th. Converted to B/W using Silver efex Pro2. (You may recognize Mara from the Bachelor!)

Congratulations to the winners!
This is most definitely a wonderfully crafted portrait of a beautiful person. Very well done. I'm not sure about the science of leading lines. My eyes go straight to her large open eyes with contrasty dark eyebrows. If my eye travelled a path from the edge of the frame through her shoulders and hands to get to her eye (wouldn't that be the definition of a leading line?), it happened so fast that I wasn't aware of it. No matter... it's a portrait for both the subject and photographer to be proud of.
That said, what's up with the voting in this place? The first vote had to have been a "1 star." Really? A snap shot? What the heck is that person looking at? I'd like to see a contest where comments in support of a vote are mandatory.
Thank you for your kind comments. And yes, lol. I did notice the first vote was 1 star. My first time entering a contest here but I agree and have written supportive feedback to others as well! All the best!
Beautiful Portrait-styled image. Wonderful composition.
Thanks John! I appreciate your kind words.
I think this is a wonderful photo. It inspires me to try to replicate the look. I don't think I've ever seen a more symetrical face in my life. Very lucky to have this model. Great work.
Thanks David!
Captivating!!! Well done!
🙏
So clean, nothing distracting from the model at all. Great job
