I've named this image "A well earned reward ... or two". My father (pictured) is enjoying a well earned lager after making the walk in the mid day heat to the old town beach front in Tossa De Mar this summer.
This was the first trip I took my new camera on. A Sony ZV-E10 with the 16-50 kit lens. Having played about with dads old cameras growing up I haven't owned one for about 10 years and am very happy to be getting back into it.
This photo is also the first and so far only photo I've put into Lightroom, having the adobe suite through my uni for graphics and fashion design Ive not ever had to use Lr so Im still a novice at it. As such some tweaks to the contrast and colouring was all I managed with great excitement at discovering the radial gradient tool to add some extra golden goodness to the beers.
Its not an overly complicated image but its one of my favourites. Not just since getting a proper camera but in general, my dad is very camera shy so this was actually hip fired, peaking the lens out from under the table, hence the upwards angle and dad seemingly non the wiser.
Good luck in the comp everyone, I've followed the comps for a few months now before finally entering one and everyone is so talented, lots of great inspiration to be gained from the other entries!
