This portrait was taken near the most eastern part of Cape Hatteras, US. The model was a surfer who had just taken a spill. Shot this with Nikon's amazing NIKKOR Z 800mm f/6.3 VR S lens. I was shooting at a high frame rate, & both the model & I liked the photo above rather than the ones showing her entire eyes. This photo hints more at seduction.

I feel like the seduction part of your backstory regarding the photograph gets lost on the emotionally detached viewer of the image. My thinking is that emotional connections are largely created through the eyes, or a type of implied connection through something such as a semi-transparent veil where the eyes are only partially concealed... but they are in the image somehow. Near totally hiding the eyes in this image blocks whatever connection I might feel with her. She looks more like she's hiding or spying on me, wanting to evade rather than attract.
