I shot this during a shoot for a local rap band that wanted good looking photos for their promotion.
We were in an old office that had a lot of character. I posed the model near the window for some shots, and he naturally looked through the blinds, which I thought looked very cinematic, especially with the reflection on his sunglasses.
To accentuate that cinematic effect, we used an RGB light stick to get some red, moody light in the room, which matched his outfit, and gave the image a monochrome look.
I shot this using a Canon 6D paired with a 24-105 f4 L. Edit was done with Photoshop, where I accentuated the contrast and gave the red light some more pop.
