Fire and Ice
A special person once told me "You really do stop to smell the roses, don't you?" Yes, I do, I also look up. This photo is not what you would expect from from Iceland, the land of fire and Ice. Yet it perfectly represents Iceland perfectly. The Harpa Concert Hall resembles ice and basalt stones, and fire was used to forge metal and glass. I knew right away I needed to get close up shots. I love depicting abstract lines and shapes and standing almost directly underneath an edge provided the perfect vantage point to depict how modern architecture meets Fire and Ice.
