1.79 - "Needs Work" 

Description of the photograph: Picture of a couple ready for their civil wedding.

lighting used: One constant light facing the couple's chest to give a rim light effect to their face and I made them stand under one of the hallway lights to illuminate them a little.

The gear used: Fuji XT4/, Shutter 1/200 and Viltrox 56 F1.4 lens
Post-processing: Capture One to convert from raw, Photoshop to darken background, skin and outfit editing

The light at the top is a huge distraction because it has the highest level of contrast in the image and takes the viewers eyes away from the main subject. I would say crop is as a horizontal so the couple is the only subject in the frame. As it is, they're competing with the light.
