A negative (concave) lens demonstrates how light is refracted (bent) as it passes through different points on the lens. The closer to the center, the less light is bent. It was shot on Kodachrome 64 using a Nikon F3 with a Nikkor AI 105mm f/2.8 macro lens. The lens was placed on white board. To the left and perpendicular to that board was placed another opaque board with three small holes at its base. In front of each hole a filter was placed; a 25, 47B, and 58 (top to bottom). A single strobe (Speedotron) was used behind the opaque board.
